The Court of Appeal in Lagos yesterday, Thursday 7th of April, 2016 granted, Ibinabo Fiberesima, a Nollywood actress a N2 million bail.
While granting the bail with two sureties in like sum, the appellate court ruled that Ms. Fiberesima bail application had merit. In a two-one split judgment, the court held that Ms. Fiberesima had not jumped bail in the past.
The court also stated that it exercised its discretion in the actress’s favour in view of her health condition.
The actress had been sentenced to five years in prison, for the death of a Lagos Doctor.
