The coast is getting clearer on President Goodluck Jonathan's chances of contesting the 2015 general election.Speaking on a live television programme in Abuja monitored from Lagos today, his Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Dr Doyin Okupe said nothing and nobody can stop the President from contesting and winning the election come 2015. According to him, Goodluck Jonathan just like every other Nigerian has the legitimate right to contest the election and he is optimistic that his principal will surely contest the election. His clarification has finally put paid to the rumour making the rounds that the President from the South South geo political zone of the country would only rule for a one term of four years before relinquishing power to a Northerners whose terms were cut short with the demise of the late President Musa Yar Adu'a
It's now left to be seen how key leaders of the North will react to this latest development..
