It is sad that Nigerian media gets a story wrong too often. If any other Nigerian (or institution gets it wrong), the Press uproars in a mixture of fits.
I never assaulted anyone at the airport or in a plane. I am not sure which version to talk about. The press has made up an anonymous top business man. What all the reports failed to tell their readers is the “Breaching the peace in an airport and aeroplane is illegal and a very serious multiple offence anywhere on earth” no passenger goes to the cock pit or speaks directly to the captain”.
I just hope that Nigerian Press will improve and develop with maturity.
The majority of Nigerian journalists are an honour to our country, they serve diligently in difficult conditions to ascertain and publish the truth of every event. Dirt finds prominence on silver. Bad journalism is in every society, last year I heard an English newspaper was closed down permanently for malpractices.
I am not a violent person and will not go around the country assaulting Top Business Men with no name.
