.Security agencies yesterday said plans by the militant Islamic sect, Boko Haram to launch attack in the southern part of the country have been uncovered. But, the Lagos State Police Command said it is prepared for the dreaded sect. A source said that the sect had plotted to attack some prominent cities in the southern part of the country. The cities mentioned among others are Lagos, Ibadan, Enugu, Onitsha and Warri. It was gathered that the move to extend its tentacle was to give an impression that the whole country is under the siege of the sect and remove the seeming ethnic colouration that its activities has enjoyed up till now. It is also to avoid the constant attack on the sect members in most parts of the north.
