It is really something to feel very emotional about. Female circumcision has always been something Nigerians have been clamoring to see an end to. Sadly it is very hard to eradicate especially from the rural environments. Questions were asked in the villages why they think a female should be circumcised and all they said was it is their culture, and they believe any lady not circumcised is prone to eternal promiscuity. Is that really enough to destroy a child’s life not giving her the choice to decide what she wants in her own future sexual life?
