Anderson Cooper has publicly acknowledged for the first time that he is a gay, proud man. The 45 year old CNN anchorman and talk show host revealed this in a letter to DailyBeast.com.

In a perfect world, I don't think it's anyone else's business, but I do think there is value in standing up and being counted.
