DH: It has always been music, I ventured into other things so as to support my music career. My motivation comes from the reaction I get from people when they listen to my music or watch me perform. Their kind words gives me hope. Music is like the air I breath, I couldn't have asked for something better from my creator (Smile).
DH as Nigerian Idol Judge recently in Abuja
DZone: According to our research, you were once a state judge in
the Nigeria Idols, MTN Project Fame and also one of the major northern

DH's moments as MTN project fame Judge
DH: Yes I was a judge on MTN project fame during the regional. For
3 seasons I was selected and I feel very blessed by that. I've also
been a judge on other reality TV shows including the maiden edition
Naija Sing, Set the Stage and most recently Etisalat Nigerian Idols
auditions in Abuja. The recent etisalat gig is one of several events
I've headlined in recent times.
DZone: Lovely, If am not mistaken in 2012 you and your outfit premiered the "I Want Peace" campaign and according to our source it was a huge success in the capital city of Abuja with lots of celebrities, government personnels and lots of endorsement, tell us what motivated you or what is behind the "I Want Peace" project
DH: The #iWantPeace project was burn out of the several and incessant crisis we had in the state and most northern Nigerian states. I remember the good old days when things were normal and living in KD was cool and fun. So much have changed.
In 2012 I wrote a song on peace titled I WANT PEACE, soon after my album came out and I named it after the song. I felt the demand to Go on a tour of states and carry the message of peace to everyone especially the youths who are mostly the actors used in perpetuating the evils.
We
did a few tours and ran out of cash since I was personally financing it
from my pocket. We took a break last November, but we're here set again
to resume the second leg of the #iWantPeace concert series. Our first
stop will be Makurdi right after the 2013 opener in Kaduna early may.DZone: Lovely, If am not mistaken in 2012 you and your outfit premiered the "I Want Peace" campaign and according to our source it was a huge success in the capital city of Abuja with lots of celebrities, government personnels and lots of endorsement, tell us what motivated you or what is behind the "I Want Peace" project

DZone: Most people would say you are either trying to gain political recognition or switching into politics with the I Want Peace project, tell us, do you have any future plans in politics and also how do you plan to get the government fully involved in the #iwantpeace project as its a national issue as far as we are concern
DH: Lol...no I don't have any political agenda. The I want peace project is just my contribution to the society I live in. I hope the government will listen to our cries and the suggestions we make on how to relate to the general populace. However, my intent is to get private individuals, companies and NGO's involved in the project. I'm also reaching out to fellow artiste to jump on the band wagon.
Dzone: During the #iwantpeace project, is it limited to only concerts or also lectures on peace related issues and all that, I mean the content of the project, and about reaching out to fellow artist, we know its quite difficult cos most A Class artist would only participate in project that will fetch them money and forgetting they are role models to lots of youths out there that need their support. Kindly tell us the challenges you are facing on that aspect.
I want peace project
DH: The challenge I and my team face is enormous. Most time we find it difficult to secure venues for our events, publicity is also a mojor challenge. Above all finance is a huge problem.
Nigerian artiste have become businessmen and women:) . It is therefore difficult to get them to commit to a project like this one. 90% of the major artiste we invited to our last event never showed up 'cos we could not pay their professional fee.
DZone: Now let's get real personal so our readers don't feel you re all about work. Aside music, how do you relax
DH: Hmmm how I relax. Well, I love to swim, I love movies, and I to spend quality time with family and friends
DZone: So tell us among all female celebs Which of the Nigerian celeb do you have crush on
DH: (Laughing) now that's easy. Genevieve Nnaji. She's like the finest of them all.
DZone: wow. Alright, so any plans on releasing an album dis year and what should your fans be expecting from you.
DH: No album plans this year but my fans should expect new songs, collaborations and fresh videos too. As a matter of fact I'll be shooting a video in abt 2 weeks from now.
