Kannywood star, Aisha Dankano, has died after a brief illness in Kano.
Reports have it that she died yesterday, Tuesday, February 23 and was buried yesterday also, according to Islamic rites.
A colleague of late Aisha, Nuhu Abdullahi said she died at about 2pm in her house in Gwammaja area of Kano State.
He revealed to Premium Times that the whole of Kannywood is mourning the departed actor.
‘She is a fantastic, creative actress,’ Abdullahi said.
Aisha Dankano starred various films, including Jarumai and Dan Tijara.
